Part of a great prevention plan when talking about cancer is being around a community of people who are all aware of how critically important health is. This is what cancer teaches us about life and we need to pay attention.

Most of us don’t get reminded until we get tapped on the shoulder. We need that tap on the shoulder that says something serious is happening now and that’s the wake up call that makes us say wait, I guess I should attend to my health.

Here’s an interesting experiment to try and see where people stand on their health. Ask the people you spend time with if they make a list of things that they need to do for the day. Or simply ask what’s on your agenda. Then, ask to see their lists or agenda if see where “health” is on there.

What you will find is most people don’t put health on their list. Here’s the irony of it, if you don’t put health on your list or agenda, it will find it’s way to the top. You will find yourself consumed with it. Either being in a place like An Oasis Of Healing or sitting in doctor’s offices where people sick people are wallking out with bags of pills or undergoing surgeries.

What Cancer Teaches Us About Life Is To Not Wait For That Tap On the Shoulder

You quickly wind up spending you whole life being consumed with being sick unless you start to attend to your health. What cancer, heart disease and all these conditions should teach us is to wake up. Life is pretty serious and a lot of fun but it has it’s serious things and requirements. It turns out that we are biological entities.

Being biological entities means that we actually have a function on the planet. We have certain things that we do and part of those things that we do, part of any creatures function is what it eats. What do creatures do, they engage in survival behaviors. And when we are not engaged in survival behaviors, that’s when we have leisure.

What the modern world has done is taken away leisure and what you wind up with is not a lot of fun in life. I don’t think people are actually having fun at malls. They are spending their hard earned money on things that they probably don’t even need.

Our society is turned upside down where people believe you ahve to be young, beautiful, rich and thin. And if you’re getting away from these things that you are supposed to be then life becomes less fun. All of this leads to anxiety. Our culture doesn’t allow for real leisure as we are working all the time with people having 2-3 jobs.

Animals Are In Bliss When Not Engaged In Survival Behavior

Any organism’s basic behavior is survival. For example, let’s look at a giraffe. It’s usually busy foraging and when it’s not it’s just hanging out and that’s when they are in bliss. Animals are in bliss when they are not engaged in survivor behavior.

When humans grow up in our current culture, we don’t get the basic essentials in or for life. Here’s one essential of life that we aren’t taught, what the body needs to stay alive. What’s poison and what’s not poison. Learn why it is essential to go to sleep early and that we would actually have more fun the next day if we did.

We don’t learn these things in our culture. Our culture doesn’t teach us how to take care of this earth suit we are living in. We are not taught about our phycology. It is very important to touch, people need to touch and we are not taught this. The same with hugs, they are very important.

When we get cancer or other conditions it’s because we have grown up in a completely artificial world and we have no idea what our earth suit or human body is and how to take care of it. We don’t even know that we are in a body, we think we are a body. Society doesn’t put it all together, doesn’t integrate it, and doesn’t understand how to live.

We don’t know how to live in a way that is genuine and authentic and that will satisfy our spirit. We should be thriving in old age, not suffering. If we learned these things, we would be thriving at any age. And so we have to be reminded of this with a tap on the shoulder and sometimes it’s a punch to wake us up!

Daily Eating Plan For Dr Lodi

daily eating plan for Dr LodiMany fans on social media would like to know the daily eating plan for Dr Lodi so we wanted to share it with everyone here.

What Dr Lodi eats depends on where he is on that day. If he is in Thailand, he eats a certain way and if he’s in the US, he eats another way. When he’s in Thailand, he drinks 4 to 5 cups of organic green tea in the morning to start his day. He wakes up and meditates first and then following meditation, he reads and while reading he drinks green tea. That is usually followed by some exercise as well.
In Thailand, every where you walk, there are people selling fresh fruit. It’s really an easy place to stay healthy. No matter what appetite creeps up in you like having a donut or something unhealthy, you can easily divert putting something unhealthy in your mouth with fresh fruit. They are always cutting up fresh papaya or pineapple or durian so there is always a healthy choice.
Dr. Lodi doesn’t not eat in the mornings and choices to fast from 3 hours before he goes to bed the night before until 12:00 noon to 2:00pm of the next day. This is allowing his system to cleanse itself with nothing getting in the way. He usually does have some fresh fruit between 12 noon and 2pm as his first meal.
His main meal is usually around 5pm and he has an incredible salad with everything healthy you can think of in it. The salad typically consists of; broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, red peppers, yellow peppers, cucumbers, celery, tomatoes, lots of sprouts and tons of avocado. He doesn’t like salad dressing, so what he does is use avocado and some sea salt and mix up it really well and it turns into a guacamole salad.

The other thing Dr. Lodi likes to eat is assorted raw nuts. What he does is at night before he goes to sleep he takes a handful of cashews, walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds and soak them overnight. Rinse them off in the morning and then sprinkle them with sea salt. Then put them in a paper towel in tuperware and wherever you go you have a great snack.
The nuts and seeds are delicious and moist, they’re alive as they’ve been sprouted  and they have the energy of the future in them. He eats hem and snack on them througout the day. Now, this is very important for people transitioning to eating raw or if you are coming back to it. If you want to stay on track and continue eating healthy you need to fool yourself.
This means that you need to never become hungry and also never get tired. If you get either tired or hungry, you are going to blow it, it’s just our nature. So, if you have these nuts and seeds to much on then you never really get hungry. Nothing is going to grab you and get you off track of your healthy diet.
What you will notice after you start to eat this way is in the afternoon after you have eaten your salad is that you are full but not you’re not uncomfortable. You actually feel wonderful. The other thing you want to begin to make a daily habit of with your eating plan is to not eat 3 hours before going to sleep.
This helps with proper digestion so when you wake up you are not feeling hungry and also you are cleansing your system at the same time.

Learn How To Reverse Diabetes

how to reverse diabetesI wanted to take the time and answer the question of how to reverse diabetes and get off any medication that you may be taking.

Diabetes is not only an epidemic but is now considered a pandemic as the whole world is becoming diabetic. Right next to diabetes is another pandemic and that is obesity as they go together. We are talking about Type II Diabetes. Type I diabetes is where the pancreas doesn’t make any insulin. This is an entirely different condition than type II diabetes which is based on insulin resistance so let’s look at how to reverse diabetes.
People become insulin resistant which leads to Type II diabetes. You are not going to get rid of it because there is no “it” to get rid of in this case. The way we have to look at this is the body becomes insulin resistant because it is getting over feed with sugar. The body creates the resistance to protect itself.
If you eat too much sugar, pasta, bread, rice, cakes, etc. which are all the things that are broken down into glucose the consequences on a biochemical and physiological process can be fatal.
Too much sugar is a potential fatality. The body goes to work and starts to protect itself by becoming resistant so the cells can’t take that glucose in and absorb it. Glucose would remain in the blood but it doesn’t get into the cells.
Type II Diabetes In An Eating Disorder
This is how diabetes is created inside the body. The way that glucose metabolism works is in order for glucose to get into a cell it needs insulin. Insulin is secreted by the pancreas and is the key that opens the door and allows the glucose to come inside the cell. Without the insulin, the glucose will simply stay in the blood. This creates an ironic situation where the body is starving for sugar all the while having an excess amount of it.
To put it into another perspective, think about someone who is dying of thirst on a raft in the middle of the ocean. That person is surrounded by water but can’t drink it because of the salt. The person would need a device to remove the salt before being able to safely drink it.
The insulin is the device that allows the sugar or glucose to come into the cells in a safe manner. Clearly, your body is doing this to protect you. Remember, there is no such thing as diseases. Disease is the body trying to maintain the integrity of the organism.
What we need to do is to get rid of the reason why the body is doing this. The body is resistant because there is too much glucose. The simple answer is to stop eating the excess glucose going into your body.
As an example, let’s say you were banging your head against a wall repeatedly and developed a headache. The way to get rid of the headache or reverse it would be to stop banging your head against the wall.
This would be in place of taking a pill. You could still take a pill to get rid of the pain and keep banging your head against the wall but that’s kind of crazy. It just makes more sense to stop banging your head against the wall.

In the end, it just makes sense to stop eating the things that turn into glucose such as all the cooked starches. As a matter of fact, if you have type II diabetes all you have to do is eat raw vegan food for 21 straight days which is nuts, seeds and vegetables.
Don’t eat fruit during these 21 days and if you do these and consume mostly raw vegetables you will be off of all medications. This happens 100% of the time.
Once you’re off all medications, you can start to play around with modifying your diet. However, you want to maintain an 80/20 balance, 80% being raw vegan food and 20% being cooked. Make sure that the 20% cooked isn’t the starchy things I mentioned earlier, instead go with quinoa.
If you’re going to eat rice, then eat brown rice and have very little of it as a small serving. Bottom line is, you want to learn to get full on food that is nutrient dense. These are foods that help prevent cravings such as those starches.
